What does it mean when you receive a star for your question?

Does it just mean that someone finds your question interesting or does a star mean a point as well or something? Just wondering because I've noticed a couple of people ask for their question to be starred.What does it mean when you receive a star for your question?No points for stars. It just means somebody found it interesting, wanted to keep track of it or wanted to alert their fans to the question so they might be able to answer it.What does it mean when you receive a star for your question?Someone thought your question was interesting and clicked the star.What does it mean when you receive a star for your question?No, there are no points given; it just means someone liked the question. This also alerts their contacts to it because on their contacts' profiles it will say "Emily H starred [such and such] question" and offers those people to navigate to your question.



Very often I'll star a question and when I come back later to check on my thumbs several of my contacts have answered it lol.
