Samsung Star- How long does it take to charge the 1st time?

I just got the Samsung Star. Just wondering how long it should take to fully charge the 1st time? And if you use it before it's fully charged- does something happen to the battery or something? I haven't used it yet but so far it's been charging for almost 5 hours.Samsung Star- How long does it take to charge the 1st time?Normally this happens to new mobile phones which usually come with partially charged lithium ion batteries. When charging it for the first time you will always notice some prolonged charging period. However, it is always recommended to charge the phone fully first however how much you might be fascinated with the new gadget :)
