What is the identity of the most distant individual star so far given identification?

I'm not thinking in terms of a distant supernova, but rather a star we continue to detect, perhaps in another galaxy. What is the identity of the most distant individual star so far given identification? The furthest "named" star is probably Deneb at about 1,400 light years away.

There is a star called MOA-2008-BLG-310L at just under 24,000 light years away (it's named because it has an exoplanet orbiting it).

Another possibility is UDF 00411, which is reported to be the furthest star, but I cannot find a distance for it.What is the identity of the most distant individual star so far given identification?Correction: GRB 090429B did not go supernova 520 million years ago. It was more like 13.14 billion years ago, the same as the light travel time to Earth. We can see the after-glow of the event, which has lasted over two years so far. What is the identity of the most distant individual star so far given identification? The most distant individual object with a name, is GRB 090429B.

It is the remains of a star in the constellation Canes Venatici and it went supernova 520 million years ago.

GRB 090429B is 13.14 billion light years from earth.
