What are the rules for a 4 star hotel at the front desk?

At the hotel that my friend works, at the beginning when the hotel was not a 4 star hotel, they actually had stools to sit while there were no guests. Now they removed the chairs, because they said that is not a regulation for the hotel. Now they are all with leg pain, back pain ect. How can we find out if this is true for a regulation for a 4 star hotel? Thank you! What are the rules for a 4 star hotel at the front desk? You need to look up labor law for whatever state the hotel is in.

An employer can state in a job description that the job involves standing up all day. They're not required to give you a place to sit.

An exception would be the ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act) ... if you become disabled, then your employer is required, under federal law, to make "reasonable accomodations" for you; such as changing your job from standing up all day to sitting all day. They're not required to keep you in the same job though, they could transfer you to some other department. What are the rules for a 4 star hotel at the front desk?Never heard or seen such a thing at the multiple 4 stars in Vegas
