How much are our Star Wars action figures worth?

My significant other has a large collection (dozens) of original Star Wars action figures in perfect unopened condition. They are all in their original unopened packaging, and were the original figures sold when the movies came out in the 70's and 80's. Where can we find out how much these are worth? How much are our Star Wars action figures worth? You can search past ebay auctions an look for prices that like figures has sold for. Don't go by what people are asking for their figures. I've yet to find a good on line price guide.

There are books as well as magazine like price guides. Books easily get out dated. Price guides like Lee's price guides are updated frequently and published three or four times a year.

Carded figures are better than loose. Cards with 12 Star wars figures on the back are the most valuable with 20/21 backs next, then Empire backed cards finally Jedi. The price guide in front of me know is dated but price ranges from $1,800 to $29 carded depending on figure card back and condition. How much are our Star Wars action figures worth?when you say "original" and "perfect"... are they really perfect as in the edges have no creases, the bubble is nice and not bent, etc.? Collectors look at perfect as in almost out of box and not yellowed or crushed in any way. If so, then I think you're looking at about $100/figure easily, depending on which figure and how rare. Figures in original package are worth a lot more than opened.

I would check Briantoys.com to see the "retail" value of the figures in boxes. They go by ratings of C9 (near mint) to like C5 which has damages. So if a figure is like $400, you can expect to get about 1/2 by yourself, or in trade. You can always also check e-bay of course.

There are also collectible periodicals at Barnes%26amp;Nobles that you can check out on how much "old toys" are worth.
