What are some good character names for the crew of a star ship in the year 2314?
I need some names for the crew of the U.S.S. Vagabond (an exploration star ship) for my book which will either be titled Raevyn and the Vagabond or Star-crossed (I haven't decided yet). Be as creative as possible. If you have a specific job in mind for the character I would love to hear your opinion. I already have the names of my two main characters. Raevyn Johnstone and Malcolm Pierce. Thank youWhat are some good character names for the crew of a star ship in the year 2314?Lunas Blue

What is the bright star (planet) often veiwed in the southern sky?
Saturn is to the left and slightly above a brighter star ( Venus?) looking east just before sunrise in the fall. Is this the same bright star seen in a somewhat southern veiw late at night in the fall? What is the bright star (planet) often veiwed in the southern sky?Bright Jupiter dominates the July sky for the first half of the night. Jupiter appears as a very bright, almost brilliant white star-like object, high above the southern horizon in the early July evening twilight. By late July Jupiter is high above the south-southwestern horizon in evening twilight. The largest planet in our solar system, Jupiter is the brightest star-like object most often seen in the night sky,What is the bright star (planet) often veiwed in the southern sky?
yaaaaaaaaWhat is the bright star (planet) often veiwed in the southern sky?My spy satellite. I see you. ;-)What is the bright star (planet) often veiwed in the southern sky?
I believe it is Venus that is seen low on the western horizon around sunset in summer months Dec/Feb.What is the bright star (planet) often veiwed in the southern sky?If you'd given a date, you would get a more positive answer. As it is today, 29 July, in the evening, that is Jupiter below and to the East of the Star Arcturus. In early Aug. Venus will be rising in the East just before dawn, and if you can get a good position fix on it, you can see it all day with the naked eye. Saturn and Mercury will also be in the picture , and you can identify them by their magnitudes from brightest to dimmest... Venus, Mercury, and Saturn.

What happens when the gravity of a massive star is able to overcome neutron degeneracy pressure?
a. The core contracts and becomes a white dwarf.
b. The core contracts and becomes a ball of neutrons.
c. The core contracts and becomes a black hole.
d. The star explodes violently, leaving nothing behind.
e. Gravity is not able to overcome neutron degeneracy pressure. What happens when the gravity of a massive star is able to overcome neutron degeneracy pressure? The maximum mass of a neutron star is given by: -
........................ 鲁/鈧?br>
M(max) = |8蟺f(n)| . 1.85.M(sun)
.............. |_____|
.............. | .. 9 . |
Where f(n) is a dimensionless length parameter (for ordinary nuclear matter f(n) 鈮?0.9).
Thus, in neutron stars of 3.0.M(sun) - 5.0.M(sun) the gravity of the massive star is able to overcome neutron degeneracy pressure at the core. The star collapses and gravity strengthens and the star enters a region of space-time called a black hole.

What do you call a white main sequence star of spectral class A to F?
You can't call them white dwarves because that's something else completely. So what would you call a white star that's slightly more massive and more luminous than a yellow dwarf? What do you call a white main sequence star of spectral class A to F?A white main sequence star.
Spectral type A stars are probably brighter than spectral type F stars, because A is an excellent grade to get, while F is pretty bad.
